COLOR Me
COLOR Me
Color me, O my Lord, color me,
Color me with your colors of life,
Color me with your colors of love,
Color me in colors joyous and bright.
Color me in the colors of spring,
Before the death bell rings,
With the colors of rainbows arching,
And the colors of merry dancing.
Color me in the colors of monsoon,
before my life is gone too soon,
With the colors of budding earth,
And the colors of a new birth.
Color me with the colors of summer,
Before age makes me more dumber,
With the colors of brimming rivers,
And the colors of cheerful givers.
Color me with the colors of winter,
Before I lie on a wooden bier,
With the colors of a golden plover,
And the colors of a patient lover.
The brush is used and the canvas covered,
Yet I hope against hope, with Him will I cope,
The brush is washed and a canvas discovered,
Filled with His Grace, I will paint to His praise.
